1) The performance is really focused on the “Land Of Music” message;

2) It was touching, moving;

3) Madonna had the guts of singing “Nothing Compares 2 U”. Maybe Prince`s song with the most powerful interpretation by Sinead O`Connor;

4) Madonna faced prejudice and haters;

5) Madonna sang “Purple Rain”. An Iconic song;

6) People stood up immediately in anticipation;

7) People were screaming with excitement;

8) Madonna`s entrance was powerful. She appeared majestic, sitting on a throne;

9) The crucifixes carried a double symbolism: in reference to Madonna`s career herself and as a tribute to Prince;

10) The orchestration on “Nothing Compares 2 U” is sublime;

11) Madonna does not wear the expected purple. Instead, she appears with a mixture of white and light purple. again, it is Prince and it is Madonna;

12) Madonna`s expression while she sings is deep and touching;

13) Prince`s pictures behind Madonna are honest and heartbreaking;

14) The beautiful white dove on the screen. Again, this tribute is a communion. without gender, racism or sexual orientation. Only simple human beings gathering to celebrate love and art. Peace!;

15) The appearance of Stevie Wonder;

16) Madonna and Stevie together, with the spiritual presence of Prince. Powerful;

17) During “Purple Rain” , the lights were simply fantastic;

18) Some artists in the audience were touched and crying;

19) Madonna faced her vocal limitations being once more an inspiration. We can be a better version of ourselves if we fight for it;

I must confess that this tribute has really touched me. It involves 3 icons that are part of my life, in one way or another. It is related to the death of Prince, another real icon of my teen years that is gone. It includes “Nothing Compares 2 u”, a song that has always meant a lot to me. And it involves Madonna. Queen, Goddess, Marvellous human being. THANK YOU so much for this! I bow!

We would be really happy if you join our Madonna`s Facebook Tribute. A place of love and to cherish this talented human being:

    1. The performance is really focused on ‘Madonna trying to be relevant’.

    2. It was wooden, stultifying

    3. Madonna had the usual inflated ego to think she can handle a song that is clearly out of her range.

    4. Madonna faced people tired of her raping songs by true revolutionary artists. (Remember how she destroyed John Lennon’s Imagine?)

    5. Madonna slaughtered (in a bad way) an iconic song.

    6. People stood up immediately in an attempt to stop her from ruining the evening.

    7. People were screaming in HORROR.

    8. Madonna’s entrance was the usual self-indulgent, delusional grand-standing we’ve come to expect.

    9. The crucifixes were there because Madonna has run out of any new original material and reverted to old stereotypes.

    10. The orchestration on ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ was terrific…unfortunately with Madonna’s voice.

    11. Madonna wears light purple because it would hide the varicose veins better than wearing dark purple which would make them show.

    12. Madonna’s expression while she sings is forced and shows how painful it is for her to hit the right notes.

    13. Prince’s pictures behind Madonna are of…well, PRINCE.

    14. The beautiful white dove on the screen is yet another attempt at distracting the clearly distressed audience from her karaoke rendition of classic songs.

    15. Stevie Wonder was the only person who was stupid enough to appear with Madonna.

    16. Madonna and Stevie together, because he’s blind and doesn’t know how badly Madonna’s face has been botoxed and stretched beyond recognition.

    17. During Purple Rain, the lights were a desperate attempt at taking some of the attention away from her dreary singing.

    18. Some artists in the audience were horrified by the destruction of Prince’s music AND that’s why they were crying.

    19. Madonna ignored her vocal limitations (she doesn’t think she has any) and was once again a warning to others not to try and sing other people’s music, it sounds like karaoke.
