Yesterday, we lost Pete burns, the vocalist of Dead Or Alive.
The band released 7 albums, yet we may call it a one hit wonder. “You Spin Me Round” ( Like A Record) is a classic. It reached number one on the UK Singles Chart and number 11 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 in 1985.
Pete was an eccentric. He admitted doing several (hundreds) surgical interventions. He died of cardiac arrest.
We are loosing our starts of the eighties. It is sad and scary.Rest in piece, Pete. Less than Whitney, Michael or Donna, you are part of my life. Thank you.
